A no-hype review of Popup Domination

If you’re like me, and own more than one or two Websites, chances are that at least one of them uses Wordpress. While most people think of Wordpress as a blogging platform, its open-source architecture makes it a Swiss Army Knife sort of program. You can build just about any kind of Website with Wordpress. It’s free, and it’s easy to use.

But...adding popups to Wordpress sites can be very difficult.  That’s a problem, as popups have been proven to get increased results. It’s nice to have an optin form on your Website so you can build a mailing list, but what if your visitor never gets to the form? Popups offer an optin experience that your visitor can’t ignore, and studies show that they do increase the percentage of people who sign up.

But it’s really really hard to add them to Wordpress sites. And while some autoresponder services such as Aweber provide that functionality in their system, their interface is a bit awkward to use and has limited templates and formats.

That’s where Popup Domination comes in. The creators of this software say they have made it possible to add popups to Wordpress sites and blogs with just one line of code. 

That sounded interesting, so I decided to take a closer look.

There were four things I needed to know about the Popup Domination:

• Does this system work?
• Is the software easy to understand and put to use?
• Is the product affordable?
• Could I put these ideas to use in order to make money quickly?

As originally designed, this product makes it very easy to add pop up windows to your Wordpress site via an easy-to-install plugin. The interface is very easy to use, and extremely configurable - you can decide who sees the windows, when they see them, how often they see them, etc. Not only that, but it is very simple to change the templates so that the windows match the look and feel of your site. The windows won’t look out of place; they will integrate very well with the user’s experience.

It couldn’t be easier to use and the results look great. And yes, they increase the optin rate on Wordpress sites.

Not to be outdone, Michael and James even went a step further, creating a “standalone” version of the program that you can use to create pop up windows for any kind of site. You’re no longer limited to using it with Wordpress; you can now use it with HTML sites or other blogging platforms as well, all with the same great functionality and configuration options.

If you’ve struggled to add pop up windows to your Wordpress or HTML sites (as I did recently), this product will help you immensely.

The bottom line? It’s easy to use, works really well, and is very configurable.

Popup Domination is clearly one of the best software products of the year. I highly recommend it.
