A review of the Salehoo Wholesale Directory
There are thousands of ways to make money on the Internet; the Web has truly revolutionized business as we know it. Still, just because some people are making money online, it doesn’t mean that everyone is getting rich. Still, if you’re like me, you’re always looking for that extra something that might make the difference. One unusual site that may have something useful going for it is Salehoo. The Salehoo Wholesale Directory is a membership site that claims to be able to provide you with lists of wholesalers for just about anything. If you have a source of inexpensive, quality merchandise, you can sell it at retail on your own Website, on eBay, or wherever you like.
I decided to check it out.
Salehoo has a wide variety of manufacturers on their lists in more than 75 different categories. It doesn’t matter what you’re looking for - jewelry, sporting goods, electronics, or even designer goods. Salehoo has it all. Even better than that is their policy that if they don’t have a supplier for what you are looking for, they’ll find one for you! It can’t get any better than that.
What do you get for your reasonable, one-time membership fee?
- Access to their list of wholesale suppliers. This list is constantly changing, as they add and drop suppliers regularly based on the needs and reviews of Salehoo members.
- The ability to contact suppliers who will drop ship merchandise directly to your customers. This is great, as it means that you don’t have to stock merchandise.
- The private members forum, where you can pick the brains of other members for useful information and sales tips.
- A guide to buying wholesale. If you’re new to the retail business, this information could be invaluable.
- An extra - their “Salehoo Alert’ software, which will notify you when items you are looking for become available for sale on eBay.
Salehoo is a great way to obtain merchandise at wholesale prices. They do lean a bit hard on suggesting that you can sell on eBay; these days, that site is more of a buyer’s market. Still, if you have a place to sell, be it a Website, retail store, or whatever, this may be just what you need to start making money.
